I met Crystal about 4 1/2 years ago, pregnant with my second and taking a fitbellies class! I fell in love instantly! Her energy, the workout and the music!! Medication free, pounds lost and sanity restored I am a different person! This is progression and it takes time so don't ever give up!! The pictures I selected show February 2014 through to August 2015! Sure the process can be quicker but let's be real I love to eat, enjoy beverages and dessert!! You can change too just make one small step, one class, one lifestyle change and the rest will fall into place! You will know when you need more and to do more and you will learn when to rest!!
Crystal you are an absolutely stunning person who has been a rock for me to get through more days then you will ever know!! Thank you for all you've done and continue to do!!!

I first started going to Crystal's small group private classes last August. At the time I was feeling drained, dragging my feet through life, overwhelmed, lacking energy and just existing day to day. I remember the first class I went to. In about 10 minutes I thought there was no way I could get through the work out. But Crystal is always encouraging, always giving options, always making sure you are doing what needs to get done. I won't lie, it was tough at first and probably not too pretty to watch, but at least I was doing something. It's been a year now and I can't even compare myself from last summer to now. That girl is gone. Not only how she looked, but how she felt. I am so much happier and healthier! I love working out and being active! I don't drag my feet around or tell my kids I'm too tired to play anymore. I joined an Ultimate Frisbee sport team and LOVE my new active lifestyle! If you are thinking of trying but are worried about how hard it will be or how you will look in the beginning... throw those thoughts aside! Think about how you will look and feel in just a year! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Laura and I have been a client of Crystals for a while now. I started as a private client and I have now joined the Monday and Wednesday 10 am classes for the summer! I have decided to write a little testimonial and share my journey so far.
As I sit here and think, how has my life changed in the last 10 months since I have met Crystal and began training with her, I can even begin to count the ways. I started my Journey with Crystal and had every intention of keeping a journal and I started out strong and then it faded…. Though out “My story” there will be some excerpts from my journal.
I have to say the moment that I realized that I had met my rock bottom, I was at the heaviest I had ever been and was very upset with my appearance, how my clothes looked and felt, and I felt very unhappy.
The moment I knew Crystal was right for me was last summer during our competition intensive as she lead our dance team through a towel class. I looked up at the TV screen and said “That is exactly what I need.” One month later my training sessions began.
Excerpt from day 1:
Well.... Today was my first work out with Crystal!!! I intend to document my journey and hope I find the time to do so!!! It was an amazing and fun work out. Crystal knew just what I needed to hear to keep moving and push myself. When I was done I got in my car and I cried! I cried because I was so proud of myself!!! I was doing things that I was scared to do at the gym and stuff I always said ... I can't do that because of this or because of that, But I did it and I know I will hurt tomorrow. But I know it's because I pushed myself to start living a Healthy happy life style and I look forward to the months to come and the results that will with them!! It's only an hour after my first session and I can't wait for Friday to go back and do it all over again!!!
Excerpt from day 4:
Kind of knew every day would be asking too much!! Today was my second session and already had progress!!! Shaved time off of our walk/jog and added 7 seconds to my plank!!!! For a total of 35. I know each day it's hard and tomorrow will hurt but I have to push myself through the aches and pains because I know I'm worth it: My new motto.... I'm ready and I'm worth it!!!
The best part form ONLY day 2 of working out:
And I will be extra sore today because as I was leaving I fell down the stairs. That day is one I my friends had a good laugh over, as did I.
Day 11
I was afraid today, I didn't know if I could do it Still a little sore from Tuesday, But I still surprised myself! every little bit helps me reach my goal. And I added more time again to my plank 50 seconds (From 28-50 in a matter of 4 workouts!) I am proud of myself and I am doing this for myself, and I think that right there is the most important part! I’m doing this for myself!! As stated before I’m ready and I’m worth it!!!
Day 15
Wasn't feeling the hottest today, I have a bit of a cold, But I went which is way better than I would have done in the past. If it was just the gym I would have came home and slept and used it as an excuse, But I went and I sweat Lol It's a good feeling to have, to feel like I accomplished something! I am proud of myself. I'm not perfect but making major improvements with eating. I'm ready for bed and it's only 8:10!! Lol I still worked hard today, Harder than I thought I could. But I'm going to do this going to get to where I want to be!!!
Day 25
My strength is improving!! There still are a few things that kick my butt! Lol but that's ok. It's not even been 1 month! I still have 2 more to go!!! (And then some) I'm enjoying this so much I truly wish I could go more times a week!!! I'm so proud and pumped!!! Anxious for next week but if it's not what I have in mind I won't be disappointed. I have got this and I will come out on top!!! I have to keep focusing on what I’ve improved on and keep that with me!!!
That’s where the journal entries end. As you can tell I didn’t follow through with it, oops. But I am continuing to follow through with my training, and I could be harder on myself when it comes to eating. Trying to make food my friend instead of my enemy is always going to be a work in progress, but hey who isn’t working on that.
I have come so far and I know I could not have gotten to where I am, nor be able to see where I am headed if it hadn’t been for Crystal. She knows what to say, she knows how to make me want to be a fitter, healthier person and I couldn’t imagine my life without her, she is more than a trainer, she is now a friend. Crystal is amazing at what she does and when ever I leave after a workout I feel like a much better version of me, and that’s because I found Crystal.

I met Crystal a few years back when I was working out at GoodLife Fitness. She was so welcoming to me, even as a fellow student, so when I found her website a few years later I was excited to get fit with her! I signed up for Crystal’s Strollerfit two summers ago and really enjoyed her energy. So after I had my daughter in June 2014, I sought out Crystal again to get back in shape. I took her Strollerfit class again to shed the baby weight, but the real kicker was when I took on the clean eating challenge she ran in September. I added some private training classes into my regime and I saw some amazing results!
I worked out 2-3 times a week with Crystal and religiously recorded my food diary using MyFitnessPal. I managed to lose 37 pounds between September 2014 and January 2015. I even got my Mom and Dad to participate in the clean eating challenge and their results have been pretty stellar too!
Crystal was there the whole time supporting me through this journey. She will be your cheerleader to help you achieve the results you want to see.

I started working out with Crystal in a one on one setting as I did not feel comfortable going to a gym. I was really looking for someone who would tell me what exercises to do to build a strong body and to watch out for my trouble area, my knees. After 12 weeks of working out together I was able to go for a 2 mile run without stopping once! All the training leading up to that point was challenging and fun. Crystal always changes up my workouts which I love and always encourages me to give it my all. She is a wonderful trainer and friend and has been a huge support for me. I look forward to working out with her for many more rounds!

I started working with Crystal on a custom exercise program during my first trimester. I wanted to stay active and alleviate some of the discomfort I had experienced in previous pregnancies. I wanted to be sure I was doing a program that was suitable for each stage of the pregnancy and fit my schedule. I love that Crystal works around my schedule and lifestyle and brings the workout to me! A great way for a working Mom with 2 children, to get a personalized program and motivation without having to leave the house or rearrange schedules. The flexibility is a must for me. FITNESS CLASSES
Before starting with Crystal I have had numerous gym memberships and have tried out various classes. I have never been able to stick to a workout routine in the past. I get bored fast and need motivation. I met Crystal during one of my prenatal exercise classes. After my second baby I knew I had to do something to get back into shape so I joined one of Crystal’s Fit4Friends classes. After that first class I just became addicted to her work outs! She makes them so fun with choreographing our moves to music and continuously keeping us challenged. It has now been over a year and a half since I started with Crystal and I can never see me wanting to quit again! I now do an additional Small Group Fitness class as well as the Fit4Friends class at her beautiful home studio in Kitchener. My body and energy level has changed dramatically since I have started with Crystal! I feel significantly stronger, more energetic and I fit into clothes I haven’t fit into since before my first baby! Thanks Crystal!!!!

Crystal's classes are so fun and full of energy! My body has changed so much since I started with her. I have more muscle definition and I am so much stronger! In my experience, I have found that in order for me to enjoy an exercise class, the instructor needs to be both knowledgeable AND as active as he/she requires the students to be. Crystal was both of these things. Her energy was completely infectious; her genuine smiles infuse you with excitement and enjoyment. As she led the class through the exercises, she not only explained and demonstrated them concisely, she performed each set with the class! The Fit4dance program, led by Crystal, was a very beneficial series of sessions. The classes gave me something to look forward to during my summer break and kept me in shape while being off from dance. These classes were like a well choreographed work-out that really was relatable for dancers. Aside from using a variety of techniques, Crystal led the class with enthusiasm and participated with a smile on her face. Overall, Fit4dance was the ideal program for me and any other dancer. It has allowed me to become more aware of my overall body while dancing and which muscles are being used. I would highly recommend this or any of Crystal’s fitness classes to people of all ages!

The Fit4Dance program this summer was awesome! Crystal did everything with us and was always on the floor with a smile on her face, making everything look easy. I have taken two of Crystal's eight week classes and I feel so much healthier. I have more energy, sleep better at night and am more motivated to eat properly. I used to have a gym membership but I dreaded every moment of it. However, I actually look forward to going to Crystal's classes as she always has new workouts that are fun and challenging. I have taken two of Crystal's eight week classes and I feel so much healthier. I have more energy, sleep better at night and am more motivated to eat properly. I used to have a gym membership but I dreaded every moment of it. However, I actually look forward to going to Crystal's classes as she always has new workouts that are fun and challenging. She is also very flexible in that she is able to adjust her program based on the current day needs of her clients. I am so happy to have met Crystal and look forward to many more sessions in the future!
